February 28, 2026

With its energetic ’70’s musical numbers, nostalgic costumes, comedic chaos and impressive vocals; Disaster opened tonight at Milburn Stone Theater to cheers. The talented cast, who work together like a tightly coordinated comedic machine, keeps the audience engaged and entertained. With sharp timing and rapid-fire physical comedy, this is a must see production.

Christopher Zaczek, an actor, director and award-winning playwright, plays a quirky chef that captivates attention when he comes out on stage and Muriel Hazelwood returns to MST as the energetic, yet conflicted Sister Mary Downey. Muriel displays great breath control and vocal range as she dashes around the stage with her dance partner slot machine and singing songs such as, “Torn Between Two Lovers”.
