Fun before Finals Week

Written by Rebecca Massey

April 25, 2018

Finals week approaches, and with it comes test anxiety and stress-induced study sessions. To help you relax during this trying time, the Student Life Office is hosting Fun before Finals Week, which includes fun activities, cuddles with therapy dogs, and, of course, free food.

On Monday, free massages were offered on the second floor of the TC building and free Rita’s water ice was offered on Tuesday from 11-1pm in the Quad. On Wednesday, therapy dogs were brought on campus for people to pet, and there was free popcorn to enjoy. On Thursday there will be a student picnic in the Quad from 11-1, with food provided by the college. There will also be inflatables set up, with activities like soccer darts and jousting for students to try their hand at jousting. Additionally, the English department will be hosting a Shakespearean insult contest in the student lounge at 12:30 with prizes awarded for the best insult. On Friday, the Student Life will be hosting board games in their office from 11-1 as well. If you need a break from studying, come to one of these events and have some fun before finals week.
