Cecil College is half a century old this year, and there’s a lot going on to celebrate our school’s big milestone. The school is hosting a wide variety of events that give fellow students an excuse to show some college pride, go on a date (some of the events are free, too!), or just have some fun while pretending there’s not homework to do.
The celebrations began last January and will continue throughout this upcoming December. Although some events have already passed, there are still many ways for us to participate. Some of the upcoming events include the much-anticipated Cecil Fest on September 22, an art exhibition in November, and many Milburn Stone Theatre performances.
Every month a different department will host an exhibit at Cecil’s Library. September is VCP’s month, showcasing camera and video recording equipment through the ages. You can also pick up a copy of the current Seahawk Review.
