Closing Ceremony for Carol White Exhibit

Carol White: Artist and Mentor

As part of Cecil College’s 50th Anniversary, the Fine Arts Program celebrates the artwork of beloved Professor Carol White and the legacy she left at the college through the work of her students, friends, and colleagues.

She taught art at Cecil College for more than 40 years and helped build the Art Program to what it is today. The Carol White: Artist and Mentor Exhibit will be hosted in both the Milburn Stone Gallery and the Elkton Station Gallery from Friday, Sept. 7, through Sunday, Oct. 21.

The opening reception will be held Friday, Sept. 7, from 5 – 8 p.m., at the Elkton Station Gallery in conjunction with Elkton’s First Friday events. This is a public art reception for all artists, students, friends, family and the community to attend.

There will be a closing reception on Friday, Oct. 19, from 6 – 8 p.m., at the Milburn Stone Gallery. This is a public art reception for all artists, students, friends, family and the community to attend.

The Elkton Station Gallery is located at 107 Railroad Ave. in Elkton, Md., and the Milburn Stone Gallery is located at One Seahawk Drive in North East, Md.
